Have You Ever Thought You Don’t Have Enough Time to Work Out?

Do you ever find yourself feeling like you have no time to exercise? That there’s too much to be done, you’ve got deadlines, things you’ve got to get done, people expecting things done at certain times? And you don’t know how you can get everything done in your time-frame. Let alone take a few minutes here and there to take care of yourself.
There’s a huge problem with that thinking!
You’ve got to take care of yourself. And you’ve got to start taking care of yourself now because when you stop taking care of yourself physically, your body begins falling apart. If you’re failing to take care of your body, you’re cheating yourself out of both a high quality of life and the energy to do the things you want and need to do.
There is a direct correlation between how well you take care of yourself and how much energy you have to be a high achiever, to be productive, to accomplish the things you want to accomplish, and to do all the things you want to do. Because of that, the only way to enjoy a high quality of life and high energy levels is to take care of your body.

If you ever find yourself thinking that there’s just not enough time to work out, then remember that working out doesn’t have to be going to the gym for 60 or 90 minutes. Working out doesn’t have to be done during a set time frame.
If you’re at a place in your life or with your career, where it’s really hard to find that time. Then I recommend finding ways to steal little blocks of time throughout the day where you can get some exercise in. You can do a quick set of push-ups, a set of crunches, even a set of body weight squats. If you have the will you will find a way. I used to do pull-ups on the bar between the stalls in the public restroom where I worked. Was that ideal? No! But I was determined and it was much better than doing nothing. Then I bought my own pull-up stand and put it in my office where I could do pull-ups when I had 5 to 10 minutes to spare, usually 4 times a day.
The Real Question is, “How Much Do You Want to Be Healthy?”
Think about it. How much do you want to be fit? How badly do you want the high quality of life that only comes from taking care of yourself physically, from treating your body respectfully? Your body was designed to be in motion. The human body was never designed to be sedentary. That’s how bodies start falling apart.
What are you doing about it?
If you feel like you haven’t the time to work out, then I challenge you to find 5 minutes, 3 or 4 times a day, where you can do something quick and intense. This will help you start having the health and fitness that you deserve in your life. It will allow you to start having the high quality of life that you certainly deserve!
